2B Square Gallery is pleased to present a duo exhibition “The Perfect Imbalance” by Hong Kong ceramic artist Amanda Tong and Japanese artist Asato Ikeda.

 

Despite their diverse origins, both artists discovered their profound love for ceramics at a young age and have since utilized porcelain as their primary medium for artistic expression. Each artwork showcased in this exhibition embodies a delicate dance between fragility and strength, simplicity and complexity, symmetry and spontaneity - reflecting a philosophy of embracing the natural rhythm, while finding the harmonious balance that arises within the creative process.

2B Square Gallery 榮幸呈獻《 The Perfect Imbalance 》，由香港陶藝家湯凱恩和日本陶藝家池田麻人組成的雙人展，將展出二人對平衡的對話 。儘管他們的背景各異，但兩位藝術家在年少時期都發現了對陶瓷的深厚熱愛，並選擇瓷器作為他們藝術表達的主要媒介。

 

這個展覽中的每一件陶瓷作品都展現了一種微妙的舞蹈，介乎於脆弱與堅固、簡單與複雜、對稱與即興之間，歌頌著一種擁抱自然節奏的哲學。在創作過程中不斷調節，尋找那恰到好處的平衡點。
