RETURNS

  • Returns are only accepted if I accidentally ship out the wrong items by mistakes. We take great care in packaging the ceramics as safely as possible. In the unfortunate event where the ceramics arrive damaged or faulty, please contact us within 24 hrs of the receipt of the ceramics.

PRODUCT CARE

  • Our ceramics are handcrafted in a durable, high-quality porcelain clay and glazed with food safe, lead-free glazes.

  • Microwave and dishwasher safe, however handwashing will always prolong the lifecycle of your unique piece of pottery.

  • Avoid thermal shock. If transferred directly from freezer to hot oven, please allow for a gradual change in temperature.

  • The unglazed surface is coated with a water-based coating for stain protection. However, it is best to refrain from using any strongly staining foods/liquids with the work. It helps to wash them quickly after use and if you can don’t leave liquid in them overnight or for long periods of time. For stubborn stains such as tea or coffee astringency, try using vinegar, baking soda or oxygen-based kitchen bleach for stain removal. Be sure to follow instructions when working with chemicals, wear rubber gloves and rinse the work thoroughly after applying the solvent to ensure that none of it remains on the work.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

  • We care about our environment and doing our best to protect the planet and minimizing single-use plastics in the world. Each piece of my works is carefully wrapped and packaged in recyclable materials. All the shipping cardboard boxes, newspapers, packing peanuts that we use came from others and are being reused for shipping purposes. This means that the package you receive from us may have old stamps and stickers on, as they've already been travelling.

  • Orders would usually be packed in our regular wrapping with tissue paper unless specified otherwise. If you're sending my works as a gift for someone, please mention when check out at the cart. We can provide a cardboard box / gift wrapping for small items. Please type in your note at checkout if you would like us to hand-write a message for you.

  • Another gift packing option for those truly special occasions is to have the works packed in a wooden box (see image above for the boxes on right hand side), which is handmade by a carpenter in Japan. This service is available for those who would like to buy a pair of cups/bowls as gift set. Please bare in mind it will take around 2 weeks to order the box in Japan and to get it packed. To add this wooden box gift packing service to your order, simply include 'Wooden box gift packing' into your cart for purchase. If you wish to have the wooden box gift packing service for other items, please get in touch.

  • Last but not least! Please try to reuse all the packaging materials as much as possible. Use them next time when you need to send a package or when moving house. If not, pass them to someone that may need them (like a local ceramist!).

Thank you for supporting small business.
